Dispatcher | Large Service Company
Dispatcher for large service company to schedule and dispatch service technicians to clients.
Dispatcher responsible for scheduling service technicians on a timely basis while keeping the customer informed of the status of the service technician’s arrival.
In addition, the dispatcher will assist with accounting data input duties, account payable reconciliations, accounts receivables, and service support. Will assist other team members as needed.
Job Functions:
- Distributes work orders to service technicians with scheduling
- Provides after-hour support via 24-hour emergency line
- On-call weekend rotation
- Records information concerning equipment to be repaired or services needed
- Prepares work tickets, schedules service, and distributes to techns
- Monitors monthly maintenance completion & prioritization for “critical” accounts
- Entry of Purchase Orders
Requirements:
- Be a Team Player
- Observe company procedures and safety rules
- Neat, professional appearance
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work rotating on-call schedules including evenings/weekends
Preferred Requirements:
- Five years’ administrative and clerical support experience
- Experience with a CRM database
- Service industry experience
