Position Summary
The Staff Accountant performs professional accounting work to support the agency’s financial operations. This includes preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with departmental reporting.

Full training is provided on their proprietary financial systems, procedures, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records, reports, and financial statements.
• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and budget monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, government regulations, and accounting standards.
• Support various departments with accounting-related needs.
• Participate in audits, year-end closing, and special financial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
