Accounting Coordinator | Part-Time
Seeking an Accounting Coordinator (Part-Time, 20hrs week)
The Accounting Coordinator is a valued member of the Accounting Department, reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting. This role supports the department’s daily financial operations and plays an important part in maintaining accurate and efficient accounting processes.
We’re looking for someone who brings strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to ethical and professional standards that align with our mission and core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting functions and financial processes
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient department operations
- Participate in cross-training across various accounting functions
Work Schedule & Environment
- Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch
- Occasional additional hours may be needed for special projects or deadlines
- A technology stipend is provided to support communication needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience
- Additional education in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus
- Training & Development
Ongoing training is required to meet licensing, accreditation, and organizational standards. Additional training opportunities may be provided to support professional growth. Completion of required training is essential for continued employment.
