Local manufacturer is seeking Staff Accountant Assistant to join their team.

Overview

Staff Accountant will perform routine accounting activities, maintains the general ledger, prepares internal and external financial reports, and supports month-end close activities.

Will conduct accounts receivable processing, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, payroll processing, and other accounting functions as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries and perform monthly and year-end reconciliations.
• Process accounts receivable, including applying customer payments received by check, credit card, or wire transfer.
• Maintain AR aging reports and assist with collections and account reconciliations.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations; report monthly sales and expenses to the corporate office.
• Calculate and report distributor sales commissions.
• Audit and assist with approval of customer and distributor contracts.
• Set up and maintain customer and vendor records.
• Review and reconcile employee expense reports in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects and special assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
