Administrative Assistant for Shipping Dept
Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented administrative professional? A well-established manufacturer is looking for an Administrative type person to support the Shipping Department’s office.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Enter and maintain records of orders and shipments in the company’s system.
- Provide customers with timely updates on order status, ship dates, and estimated arrival times.
- Document all loads upon arrival, including taking pictures and maintaining accurate records.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
✔ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Proficiency in data entry and email communication.
✔ Prior administrative experience, preferably in a shipping/logistics environment, is a plus.
