AutoCAD Technician – Submittal Preparation & Design Support
Seeking experienced AutoCAD professionals to join our design team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating detailed drawings and documentation for a variety of projects, with a strong focus on preparing final submittal packages that meet design and compliance standards.
You’ll work closely with the production team and inspection personnel to ensure quality and accuracy, as well as troubleshoot potential field issues related to fit and finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for submittals, ensuring design compliance
- Collaborate with design, production, and inspection teams
- Compile complete engineering and specification packages
- Assist with calculations, RFIs, and design documentation
- Apply MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) standards across projects
- Identify and resolve potential field installation issues
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience using AutoCAD in a professional setting
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction documentation
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and collaboration skills
