Human Resource Assistant | Schertz, TX
Seeking Human Resource Assistant Manager to support daily HR operations, employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and safety initiatives.
This role partners closely with the HR Manager in a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment.
Location: Schertz, TX – a suburb of San Antonio.
Candidate should have:
- Strong communication
- Leadership
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Manufacturing or safety-focused experience
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations and staff
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding
- Administer benefits and support open enrollment
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance
- Utilize Paycom for HRIS, payroll support, reporting
- Assist with employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Coordinate training and performance management processes
- Assist with safety programs, training, and OSHA compliance
