IT Technician – Microsoft Cloud Management
Seeking an IT Technician for Microsoft Cloud Implementation, Management, and Support.
Seeking a skilled IT Technician to lead Microsoft cloud initiatives while supporting overall plant IT operations. This role is responsible for administering Microsoft 365 services, managing endpoint security, supporting network infrastructure, and ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities – Implement, configure, and administer:
- Microsoft Intune (endpoint management & MDM)
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoints
- Microsoft security and compliance solutions
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (on-prem & Azure AD/Entra ID)
- Provide systems administration support (servers, workstations, user access)
- Perform network administration tasks (switches, firewalls, VLANs, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Intune device management
- Exchange administration
- Microsoft Defender / endpoint security
Working knowledge of:
- Network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, switches)
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- IT security best practices
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator
- Microsoft Security Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+
Work Environment
- On-site plant environment
- Occasional after-hours support may be required
- Will require periodic traveling for conferences and conventions.
- Person should have 5-7 years of experience in this field.
