IT Technician Assistant | Large Service Company
Seeking an IT Assistant to support our IT Manager in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.
The IT Assistant will be responsible for user setup, resolving service tickets, and providing technical support via phone, email, or in-person. The role also involves assisting with cybersecurity measures and traveling to branch locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with new user setup, including hardware and software installation and configuration.
- Respond to and resolve IT service tickets in a timely manner, providing support via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to networks, hardware, software, and cybersecurity concerns.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Assist in the maintenance of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
- Assist in the support and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory accounts and permissions.
- Assist with cybersecurity measures, including teaching users how to recognize potential threats.
- Travel to branch locations as needed to provide on-site IT support.
- Assist the IT Manager with various IT projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to branch locations as needed.
