Customer Service / Production Scheduler | Manufacturing
Seeking Customer Service / Production Scheduler to work directly with clients to understand their production needs, plan schedules, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure orders are completed and delivered on time.
This is a key position that requires someone who can take ownership of the job, communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, and keep production moving when priorities or schedules change.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with customers to understand production requirements, delivery expectations, and changing priorities
Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer commitments and deadlines
Coordinate workflow across multiple departments and production work centers
Communicate schedule changes, delays, and potential issues to customers and internal teams
Monitor orders from initial planning through completion and shipment
Coordinate the movement of materials, parts, and assemblies throughout the production process
Ensure materials and resources are available to meet production requirements
Identify and resolve material shortages, backlogs, and other issues that could impact schedules
Create production work orders and monitor order status, materials, and work-in-process
Work closely with production, purchasing, shipping, and other departments to keep orders on schedule
Help resolve scheduling conflicts and develop solutions when priorities change
Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on order and production status
Identify opportunities to improve scheduling, workflow, and overall efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
1–2 years of production planning or scheduling experience
Manufacturing experience and an understanding of production processes
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle stressful situations with maturity, confidence, and professionalism
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, production personnel, and management
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
Experience with SAP or another ERP/MRP system is preferred
Associate degree with 4+ years of related experience or Bachelor’s degree with related experience preferred

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply maintain a schedule—they own it. The successful candidate will anticipate problems, communicate before issues become emergencies, and work with customers and internal departments to find solutions that keep production and deliveries on track.
Schedule: Monday–Friday with overtime or non-traditional hours as needed to meet customer and production requirements.
