Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver to join our team.

This position is responsible for accurately receiving incoming raw metal materials, verifying shipments, and recording critical data into an Excel-based tracking system.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming loads of raw metal materials (beams, sheets, and other large items)
• Weigh incoming materials using plant scale equipment
• Identify and record the type of metal being received
• Document individual weights of items (especially beams)
• Record time of arrival and supplier/vendor information
• Accurately enter all data into an Excel spreadsheet
• Verify shipment accuracy against bills of lading or delivery paperwork
• Maintain organized and accurate receiving records

Qualifications

• Prior experience in receiving in industrial environment preferred
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior knowledge of identifying steel in various forms

Work Environment

• Industrial plant setting
• Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
• Safety equipment required (PPE provided)
