Seeking a compassionate, dependable individual to assist adults with special needs in a structured day program environment. This role involves supporting clients in daily activities, supervising group programs, and helping create a safe, engaging, and positive experience each day.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful work while making a direct impact in the lives of others.

Schedule:   Monday – Friday,  9:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview

The Support Specialist will provide supervision and hands-on assistance to clients throughout the day at our facility. Responsibilities include helping with group activities, community outings, and assisting with transportation needs when required.

Responsibilities

Provide daily supervision and support to adult clients (ages 18–60) with disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities

• Assist with structured group activities and individual support needs
• Help coordinate and supervise community outings
• Support transportation needs as required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment
• Obtain CPR and First Aid certification (may be completed after hire if not already certified)

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Comfortable working with adults with developmental disabilities
• Valid driver’s license required
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
