You will assist procurement with all processes and work closely with suppliers, be involved in contract negotiations,  and  will ensure that inventory levels are adequate while maintaining cost efficiency.

The Buyer works with purchase orders, vendors, negotiations, and assist other departments to assure a smooth flow.

Duties:

• Review purchase orders
• Work with all departments to maintain supply of raw materials
• Involved with vendor selection
• Placing POs and follow-up on open POs.
• Assist Supply Chain Manager

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Past experience in Buying position in manufacturing environment
