Seeking a person to take on the position of Buyer/Planner/Operations Assistant.

Seeking a detail-oriented and dependable person to support our manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are procured on time, inventory levels are optimized, and production schedules run efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Generate and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies
* Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules
* Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock to support production demands
* Assist in production planning and scheduling to align materials with manufacturing needs
* Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, shortages, or quality concerns
* Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems and Excel spreadsheets
* Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations
* Analyze usage trends and support demand forecasting efforts
* Assist in identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Qualifications:

* 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
* Basic understanding of inventory control and production planning concepts
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
* Effective communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT), or continuous improvement principles
