Looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and help maintain accurate financial records. This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a busy office environment.

Sign-on Bonuses:

• $500 signing bonus after 90 days,
• $1,000 at six months, and an additional
• $1,500 bonus at one year.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports
• Maintain the general ledger and record financial transactions
• Code invoices, set up accounts, and reconcile accounts
• Handle accounts payable and verify invoices and payments
• Reconcile bank accounts and verify deposits
• Run financial reports for management
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing
• Provide documentation and support for annual audits
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax forms
• Perform other accounting duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
