Quality Assurance Assistant will help maintain accurate documentation and assure high product standards during the inspection process. This role involves data entry, documentation control, and assisting with inspection duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter daily production data and water jet logs
- Assist with recording, organizing, and managing all quality documentation
- Record and document incoming raw materials used in manufacturing
- Assist with inspection tasks as needed
- Serve as a backup inspector when required

Production Planner works with various departments and organizations and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule.
A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Established analytical skills, focused on the ability to identify, and implement creative solutions to complex problems
- Understanding of the concepts, principles, processes, and procedures required to actively manage production schedules
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating the skills needed to effectively avoid and resolve conflict
- Understand various manufacturing processes and methods
- Professional attitude and adaptability, including the ability to work overtime and non-traditional days and hours to meet the expectations of organization
- “Ownership of the job” is critical to success in this role
Essential Functions
- Communicate, coordinate, and negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources
- Ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.
- Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping
- Create production work orders and monitor order and material status, managing WIP areas, inventory control, manufacturing
- Ensure availability of materials. Resolve material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of prior related experience or an Associate’s Degree with minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- 1-2 years production planning experience
- Experience in project or program execution techniques
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
