Restoration Technician (Carpet/Floor Cleaning, Flood, Fire & Smoke Damage)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some after-hours work required during emergency or extraordinary events)
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable Restoration Technicians to join a professional team specializing in carpet cleaning and property restoration from water, fire, smoke, and other damages. The ideal candidate will be dependable, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to respond to occasional after-hours emergencies.
Past experience a plus, but will train the right people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning using commercial-grade equipment
- Respond to water damage calls including extraction, drying, and dehumidifying processes
- Assist in fire and smoke damage restoration, including cleaning and deodorizing
- Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all job sites
- Maintain and clean tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Document work completed, including photos and written notes
- Be available for after-hours or weekend emergency calls as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in carpet cleaning or restoration work preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to be on-call for emergencies
- IICRC certification a plus (but not required)
- Must pass background check and drug screen
